$27/hour ASM Global the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for Warehouse Supervisor at the Long Beach Convention Center for Food & Beverage.
The Warehouse Supervisor is Responsible for assisting in preparing location equipment set-ups, maintain equipment and area for day-to-day operation, responsible for accurate accounting of all inventory transactions and assist with location inventory controls.
The position supervises a team of stockers/runners and ensure that all duties required of team are completed efficiently and effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area.
Follow rules and regulations of ASM Global and SAVOR Food & Beverage.
Stock service areas with paper goods, condiments, beverages, and food items as needed.
Receive orders and store in proper area.
Rotate inventory.
Keep operations manager informed of all company equipment issues.
Stocking and filling out correct transfer paperwork.
Set up and break down portable food service equipment.
General cleaning of concession stands, bars, and warehouse areas.
Assists Manager in ensuring breaks are being taken and daily tasks are being completed by runner team.
Maintains stock order forms and ensures they are accurate.
Monitors and organizes bar refrigerators and product, rotating the inventory and keeping them stocked throughout service.
Time and Temperature logs maintained daily.
Sustains bar cleanliness and equipment maintenance (sanitizing, handwashing stations, etc.
) Stocks necessary bar product and related service items (cups, napkins, lids, receipt paper, trash bags, ice, etc.
) Ensures service goods are stacked correctly and safely at all F&B locations.
Assists with EOM (End of Month) Inventory verification.
Assists with receiving and storing all related F&B deliveries.
Assists with the creation and execution of bar related beverages (batch cocktails, batch beverages, etc.
) Assigns other tasks to runner team.
Assists in supervising assigned staff (runner team) and ensures teamwork and cohesion.
Maintain supplies for area and inform Operations Manager when supplies are low.
Willing to create a successful food service environment by stocking, straightening, and cleaning.
Interact with co-workers in a diverse workforce.
Complete tasks assigned promptly and safely.
Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Education and/or Experience 2 years of relevant work experience required Received High school diploma or GED Skills and Abilities Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work Basic knowledge on current POS system used with minimal trouble shooting and software skills Multitasks and prioritizes tasks effectively Basic Math and Reading skills Has basic knowledge about all relevant bar product, food product and equipment Handles food related items and has experience with FIFO and rotating inventory Utilizes storage spaces effectively with limited space available in F&B service areas Communicates effectively with the team and has strong leadership skills Able to complete tasks that are time sensitive in a fast-paced environment with evolving conditions and constraints Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position including walking, standing, for extended periods and working nights, weekends, and holidays Complete tasks assigned promptly and safely Ability to efficiently transport F&B products and fulfill other related needs to multiple locations quickly Ability to carefully lift items of moderate weight and size Positive attitude and neat appearance Ability to accomplish large-scale event assignments cohesively with a diverse workforce Basic knowledge of Concession / Bar operations Work ethics encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand basic English Other Qualifications Must have basic math ability to accurately count inventory.
