About the Role:
MD Stainless is looking for a Project Manager to join our team in based in Downey, CA, The Project Manager plays a key role in coordinating all project activities and supervising all aspects of the overall project, to ensure it is completed on schedule and within budget.
This position is also accountable to review project details, with the Field Superintendent, to ensure the development and implementation of a high quality, cost-effect plan, and schedule.
This role requires sound commercial construction experience, strong relationship building skills, excellent planning capabilities, and project management skills.
Field work and travel will include Southern California and at times throughout California.
Salary:
Base Range:
$90,000 - $110,000 annually, plus incentive program based on performance.

Lead and manage multiple projects at one time, supported by multiple project teams.
Plan, coordinate, collaborate and schedule the Field Superintendent and Project Teams, across all projects, based on availability and skill set.
Complete regular project assessments to establish if individual project tasks are on track.
Complete all project items and tasks, as on Project Checklist, to achieve all project milestones and deliverables.
Monitor labor and material costs, as well as overall profitability of project.
Document and communicate changes, ensuring formal Change Orders are created and signed off.
Ensure drawings and materials are up to date and ordered to arrive as per project milestones.
Evaluate, assess, and control project quality.
Ensure standards and best practices are met and successful execution of overall project.
Lead and manage multiple projects at one time, supported by multiple project teams.
You have:
At least a high school diploma or equivalent Project Management Professional Certification (Preferred) Knowledge of developing, implementing, and evaluating project plans.
3-5 years' experience of managing and successfully executing projects, in similar industry (Preferred).
Field experience working with Superintendents and work crews.
Experience creating work plans for work crews or trades.
Knowledge of process piping systems and/or other related processes.
Knowledge of schedules and documentation.
Experience creating and reading basic isometric sketches Experience reading P&ID, an asset.
Knowledge of welding and process piping process, an asset.
Experience organizing and finalizing materials orders.
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at one time, supported by multiple project teams.
Can provide technical direction for the development of placement plans and quality control procedures.
You can:
Work in all-weather elements (heat, cold, rain, snow) Adhere to PPE requirements.
Climb Ladders, steep stairs, crawl, stand, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, sit and reach and lift objects up to 40 pounds.
Work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends as needed to complete a project.
Overtime will also be required to meet project deadlines.
