Practice Leader, Financial Services Reporting to:
VP Business Development Primary Role:
Responsibilities:
Develop overall strategy, budget, and tactical action plan for the Practice.
Manage the P&L related to the financial services segment, to ensure growth and profitability for RampRate services within the segment.
Oversee and/or perform client engagement processes for financial services industry, including statements of work, client needs assessment, RFP/RFQ preparation, vendor selection, vendor analysis, and vendor recommendations for client engagements.
Determine high level approach to addressing client need including value proposition and cost / benefit analysis.
Monitor engagements to maintain client satisfaction, project timing, and project objectives.
Complete communication plan for project (internal and external) detailing clear roles and responsibilities, issue management and escalation process Oversee client engagement, analyst, and consultant performance for gaming engagements, including performance improvement plan if necessary.
Contribute to business development for the gaming segment, including but not limited to:
- Participating in pre-sales calls with prospects, as a subject matter expert and to scope RampRate services.
- Defining scope, setting objectives, developing solutions and closing deals.
Required Characteristics:
Must have industry relationships with Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, BankOne, Citibank, and other financial services firms.
Relationships with firms in North America a must, other regions a plus (e.
g.
, London, Berlin, Tokyo).
Proven leadership ability, thorough understanding of market dynamics, and a self-motivated style.
Relationships with top influencers in the financial services segment a plus.
5-10 years business experience including a minimum of 3
years of successfully conducting and/or selling IT services and/or professional consulting services to the financial services vertical.
Consulting experience to financial services companies with a recognized professional services organization, large managed services client, and/or major managed services vendor a plus Proven experience working with senior executives to develop value propositions and solutions.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to build business with P&L responsibility College degree required; MBA a plus.
