The Associate Welding Specialist will enter into a yearlong Airgas National Apprentice Weld Specialist Training Program.
During this time, they will work closely with an Advance Fabrication Specialist (AFS) to gain experience using the Airgas Advanced Fabrication Sales Methodology.
Traveling to customer sites to learn and understand current welding products and services in order to support customer needs Under the guidance of the AFS, work on small to mid-size Airgas accounts in order to gain or retain business and satisfactorily resolve customer concerns Learning about flexible and fixed automation applications and CNC cutting systems Developing an understanding of how to effectively increase sales and profit margin within an assigned territoryQualificationsQualifications Successful candidates will:
Be committed to safety and team excellence Be personable, professional, responsive, knowledgeable and bring value to the Customer's business Have a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the welding industry Be successful at building teams and maintaining strong customer service relationships Exercise strong communication skills both verbal and written Airgas offers a full benefits package includes:
