The Production Technician II will be supporting Production Department with the functional testing, performing troubleshooting and repairing of defective PCBA.
May also be required to support RMA for defective PCBA that come back from the field for repair services.
This Production Technician will also be required to work with internal customers and engineers for the related engineering prototype builds.
The Production Technician II will report to the Production Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Perform a variety of complex technical functions related to the assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) under general supervision.
Perform troubleshooting, often to the component level, utilizing assembly prints, mechanical part drawings, schematics, and electronic equipment such as DMM's, oscilloscopes and etcAssisting in the development of production documentation such as manufacturing instructions and troubleshooting aids.
Assisting Hardware Engineer for prototype builds.
Ability to follow engineering assembly drawing, functional testing procedures and fill out all paper works as required in support of production.
Thorough understanding of all related test equipment used in the testing areas such as DMMs, power supplies, PACE soldering extractor, various type de-soldering and soldering equipment.
Support RMA Department with repairs.
Perform root cause analysis and identify plausible corrective actions.
Other duties and responsibilities may be required.
Education and/or Experience Vocational school or 2 years college degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of related experience.
Ability to read and comprehend in English manufacturing instructions, work orders, electrical schematics, wiring running list, assembly drawings, BOM, and test box wiring list.
Ability to solder micro-processors and work with small SMT and TH components.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital micro-controller circuitry.
Must be able to work with engineering.
Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally.
Strong team player and ability to work well with othersMust be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Window 10 and some basic networking knowledge.
Ability to prioritize, organize and plan your workload effectively.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
Pay attention to details and ability to perform multitasking.
Ability to adapt and perform at a fast pace environment.
Experience with Auto-Cad will be a plus.
